WHOSCALL DRIVES 78K+ APP INSTALLS THROUGH ANTI-SCAM CAMPAIGN WITH PDRM

Goals

The key objectives of the campaign were to increase brand awareness for Whoscall in Malaysia and promote a special giveaway of one-year Whoscall Premium accounts, in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), to raise public awareness on online scams. In addition to strengthening brand trust through this partnership, the campaign aimed to drive high volumes of app installs on both Android and iOS platforms.

Solutions

We executed a multi-platform strategy that leveraged Google Display Network (GDN), Facebook, TikTok, Universal App Campaigns (UAC), and Apple Search Ads (ASA), with each platform selected to reach users at different stages of the awareness and conversion funnel. GDN and Facebook were used to build awareness through visually engaging creatives, while TikTok extended our reach to mobile-first users with high engagement rates. UAC and ASA focused on capturing high-intent users directly within app ecosystems, ensuring efficient installs across both Android and iOS. With precise targeting, optimized creatives, and tailored bidding strategies, we successfully boosted app visibility, attracted quality traffic, and increased install volume in a short timeframe.
